I joined deviantART in May of 2001 as sadwings1. In the latter part of that year, I volunteered to work on the deviantMAG project. In the summer of 2002 I no longer felt "sad", or that the name sadwings1 fit who I was, so I moved into the new account. I remained as a Premium Content Staff member until late in `04 when I was offered a help position, which I gladly accepted. I love to help people. Recently I was transferred to the Policy Violations Team. Due to circumstances in RL, I was forced to give up the PVA position, thus the 'former staff' symbol :).

In real life, I am bench jeweler, a father and a husband. I am a pretty easy-going person, a must for dealing with teenagers. I live in Oklahoma (Go Sooners!) after having lived in Illinois and Missouri.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday, whatever you call it. If you don't celebrate I hope you enjoyed the free day off of work. I was lucky enough to get a 5 day weekend. I get a 4 day weekend for New Years. :w00t!:
I hope everyone got great stuff, and 'just enough' family to not lead to violence. It came close at the celebration I attended.
So, what's everyone's plans for the new year? Mine are to move out of the house I currently live in. I absolutely loathe it. I also plan on resuming my interweb activity. :)
