by :devimperfect:
I have always believed that deviantART homes some of the most talented and exciting writers on the internet; people you should watch out for because I am certain you'll see some of these names on the shelves of your local bookstores, and in literary magazines, in the future.
The writers that are reviewed in this article will be well known to the literature community for their quality and talent, but I imagine they'll be unknown to the wider dA community, and it is you that this article is aimed at. devCAST - The Unofficial deviantART News PodcastThere are thousands of news articles on deviantART, and a lot of them don't get much recognition. Many deviants just read the "headlines" of the articles on the front page, if that. But there is so much devious news beneath the popular articles - and not just on the site, too. | deviantLIFE: I joined deviantART in May of 2001 as ~sadwings1. In the latter part of that year, I volunteered to work on the deviantMAG project. In the summer of 2002 I no longer felt "sad", or that the name ~sadwings1 fit who I was, so I moved into the new account. I remained as a Premium Content Staff member until late in `04 when I was offered a +help position, which I gladly accepted. I love to help people. Recently I was transferred to the Policy Violations Team. Due to circumstances in RL, I was forced to give up the PVA position, thus the 'former staff' symbol realLIFE: In real life, I am bench jeweler, a father and a husband. I am a pretty easy-going person, a must for dealing with teenagers. I live in Oklahoma (Go Sooners!) after having lived in Illinois and Missouri. I like to get notes. Want more info? Just ask. |
